You can also travel to f.re.e with your own motorhome and spend the night in the north-east section of the exhibition grounds. The site is equipped with showers, sanitary facilities and supply and disposal facilities.
Cost per night: 28 euros (all-inclusive, for departure by 12:00 noon the following day).
Opening hours
Last Monday BEFORE the start of the fair until the first Monday AFTER the fair.
It is not necessary to book in advance.

Tourism, food and stores
Munich has lots to offer when it comes to sight-seeing, restaurants and culture.
The Messe München City Guide can help you plan your activities around the fair.
Important to keep in mind:
- Stores in bavaria usually close at 8pm, with a few exceptions at large train-stations or the airport.
- Restaurants typically serve food until 9-11pm but offer beverages for longer than that.
Make sure to also check the latest corona regulations regarding wearing masks and meeting in groups.
