From FC Bayern stars to mountain rescuers: These stars are coming to f.re.e 2026

Whether Bundesliga pros, TV presenters, singer-songwriters, or mountain rescuers from the ARD documentary series—f.re.e 2026 will be the stage for prominent guests from the worlds of sports, media, and culture. Visitors will experience stars up close, gain personal insights, and meet people who stand for passion, commitment, and extraordinary experiences. Germany's most active travel and leisure fair is thus expanding its diverse supporting program with emotional highlights.

The appearance of FC Bayern professional Josip Stanišić will be a sporting highlight. The Croatian national player will be coming to f.re.e on Thursday, February 19, and will be taking time for autographs, conversations, and photos at the Istria Tourist Board stand in Hall A4. A dedicated photo booth will ensure lasting memories.

Julian Janssen, known as "Checker Julian", thrills young viewers on KiKA and ARD with his educational program, and on Wednesday, February 18, he will also thrill visitors to f.re.e. Interviews with him will take place on the sports stage in Hall A6 from 11:30 to 12:00 and on the f.re.e. stage from 16:00 to 16:30. After each interview, he will be available for autographs and selfies.

Claudia Koreck has been one of the most established artists in the German-speaking world for more than two decades. Visitors to f.re.e. can see the songwriter live on Friday, February 20, from 14:00 to 14:30 on the f.re.e. stage in Hall A5.

Real rescue missions by the Bavarian Mountain Rescue Service are the focus of the ARD documentary series "In höchster Not—Bergretter im Einsatz" (In dire need—Mountain rescuers in action). Michael Renner, head of the Ramsau Mountain Rescue Service, will talk about the extraordinary filming conditions on the f.re.e. stage in Hall A5 on Saturday, February 21, from 13:30 to 14:00 and on the sports stage in Hall A6 on Saturday, February 21, from 11:00 to 11:30 and 15:30 to 16:00. He will also be speaking there on Sunday, February 22, from 11:00 to 11:30.
